A Personal Approach

We take a personal "hands-on" approach to training over a span of 12 sessions lasting approximately 60 - 90 minutes per class and spread over a 6 month period.

Each session will allow no more than a group of 3 participants so we can give individual attention to ensure a strong level of learning and interactivity.

How can you expect to learn a profession in 2 days?

Could you really be expected to learn a complete profession in a 2 day workshop as promised by late night informercials? Probably not...

Our team created the Hi4x Workshop to help deliver a quality program that a one or two day workshop could not possibly deliver for a participant to adequately absorb material and gain the experience necessary to learn. By breaking sessions apart with assignments between classes and delivered in small groups, participants learn at a rate best suited to their pace while managing other areas of life. You will complete over 20 hours of intense instruction with an estimated 36 hours of dedicated study and assignments over the entire semester of instruction.

Even after the formal sessions are completed, you will still have the option to participate in our trading community.

Enrollment Process

Because of the vast time committment and dedication involved in this program, we hold an enrollment process the first Wednesday of each month which starts with scheduling a 30 minute interview process to screen participants for the private session program. Those accepted into the program will devise a schedule of sessions with the instructor.

On a separate note, we will recommend alternatives to those we feel might benefit from other venues outside our program. This process ensures our ability to provide a high quality of service and attention to our program participants who are serious and able to dedicate the necessary time and involvement to learn.

After an initial consultation, we will create a class road map that will fit the participant's schedule in creating a strong learning format. The sessions will be held online via phone / web conference where the last Saturday of each month will have a physical session at the Manoa Innovation Center with details to be provided by invitation. The purpose here is where you can meet with other traders and review upcoming trades for the week. These meeting sessions are private and by invitation only in order to maintain a high quality of experience for serious traders.

If you are new to trading Forex and accepted into this program, we will start with the core basics along with configuring the platform and tools execute and manage your trades. Once a foundation is built, we move on to sophisticated trading techniques involving money and risk management. Our goal is to work with you at a pace that best suits your pace of learning.

Upon completing the 12 sessions, a participant may continue to "sit - in" as an attendee in future scheduled sessions with students to help reinforce learning with limited participation. Ongoing training and community interactivity is fostered through our Hawaii Forex Advanced Bulletin Boards and "Live eChat" sessions between sessions.

Throughout the course, you will have ample opportunity to interact with reputable and experienced trade veterans as Joe DiNapoli, Ed Ponsi and professionals traders meeting everyday as they identify opportunities in the market.

Joe's experience spans over 4 decades as an internationally recognized lecturer and author having taught advanced Fibonacci techniques to over 23 financial centers around the globe.

Ed Ponsi is a professional currency trader, money manager, author and trading coach along with being the former Chief Educator at FXCM. He has advised hedge funds, institutional traders, and individuals of all levels of skill and experience as a veteran trader on Wall Street.

About the Course - Private Sessions - Managing the Trade - Class II

Prior to meeting Joe and coming across his work, our organization had reviewed quite a number of educators on the markets producing work that gave less than satisfactory results. Joe's work on "Trading with DiNapoli Levels" book and in-home course brings together a wealth of information lacking in much of the literature and workshops so readily available on the Internet. It gives one a "fighting chance" at surviving the markets.

The course is designed to help you learn by interactively experiencing and applying information from each session to build your understanding over time.

We realize learning to trade will take you time. If you're committed to learning and do the work involved, you'll reap the reward. Our class is designed as a membership for ongoing learning where you'll have homework and materials to read. You'll also have access to our advanced bulletin boards to meet with other traders, post questions and trade ideas. We also provide 3 day access to "Live" trading sessions utilizing the trade setup concepts in the course.

The objective is to help you get started in learning and understanding strategies as explained by Joe DiNapoli in his book "Trading with DiNapoli Levels" on the Hi4x Dealbook platform. We'll also cover specific areas as related to FX. You'll learn how to start applying tools needed to implement trading concepts using DiNapoli levels and advanced Fibonacci strategies.

From here, Joe DiNapoli also holds private sessions at a trading room in Thailand where advanced sessions focus on a "Live Trading" environment covering equities, futures and forex.

Classes will be spaced apart since you will have trading assignments to work in between. We will also be providing additional supplementary material during the training sessions. A complete list of additional material not included with this course (optional) will also be included.

Those participating in our program will also be able to access our "Live" online workshops which will include guest speakers as Joe DiNapoli, Ed Ponsi and other experienced traders sharing their knowledge and practical experience in trading the markets! Times for these events will be posted in our calendar and announced in our newsletters!

To help supplement ongoing learning, you'll be able to participate in both the bulletin forums and our Trader's Corner on continuing your education as a trader meeting with other traders sharing thoughts and ideas. We will have guest speakers where your education will be a continual "work-in-progress".

Our added segments on personal wealth strategies, tax and accounting will help you structure your trading set up and introduce you to financial planning to maximize growth. It provides an introduction along with a free personal assessment addressing areas as long term debt reduction and passive income strategies. This part of our workshop is not part of Joe DiNapoli's work but included as part of the support and value we offer our clients at Hawaii Forex to help your overall success as a trader and investor.

At the end of this course, you will have the confidence in utilizing resources at hand to take trades with improved probability and manage risk with an understanding on how professional traders go about their business day. You will also receive an assigned login to basic and advanced courses designed by the Chicago Board of Trade (CME) to give you an understanding of exchange traded products in the foreign exchange market aside from spotFX.

Lastly, you have the option of scheduling a 1 on 1 session with a financial specialist knowledgeable on trading taxation. This also includes receiving a CD Rom on Forex taxation and access to an advisor for accounting or tax related questions.
